Nixon leads the investigation into the death of the missing baby girl. The nanny and her boyfriend remain prime suspect, but events take a drastic turn when the family car is identified on CCTV in the area. The mother is identified at the scene and confesses to being there, but the team are sceptical when she admits to being outside. The postmortem reveals natural causes, and Nixon looks into the mother’s history, unearthing a dark secret. Meanwhile, Banks tries to get the nanny to confess her part in the coverup of the baby’s death.
