Hunter investigates the brutal attack on his brother and soon suspects that smuggling suspect Michael Hassan may have been responsible, as a way of taking revenge for their altercation following his arrest. Meanwhile, a hit-and-run leaves a young girl dead, and Stamp is forced to arrest one of his old friends whom Casper suspects may have been at the wheel of the car. However, investigations later reveal that the man's fiancé has been hiding a deadly secret. Turner and Nixon investigate a claim made by a concerned daughter after she suspects that her mother has been conned by a self-proclaimed 'lifestyle guru', who attempts to do a runner the moment the pair start to investigate.
