Deakin orders a raid on a known crack house operating in the area, and during the raid, rookie cop John Boulton arrests a young prostitute, Paula, for possession of drugs. However, she soon claims that the drugs were for her violent pimp, who will harm her child if he does not receive them. Boulton believes that the girl is trying to pull the wool over his eyes, but Carver convinces him to raid the pimp's flat and save the child.
